With a career spanning thirty-eight years, Sujit Banerjee has served the Government of India in various significant capacities. His professional work has taken him around the world and allowed him to indulge in his love of travel and, now, storytelling.
As a 1972 batch IAS officer from Uttar Pradesh cadre, he has served as the Secretary of the Central Vigilance Commission and as the Secretary and Chairperson of the National Authority for Chemical Weapons Convention. He superannuated as Union Secretary to the Government of India within the Ministry of Tourism in 2010. Presently he is the Secretary General for the World Travel & Tourism Council India Initiative (WTTCII).
Sujit is an avid reader and a photographer, and he loves music, both as a listener and a singer.
